hmmm......
that's a toughie... it's like asking, "would you rather be a boy or a girl?". or, perhaps, "the chicken or the egg". but i think i will choose...
accomplished...because...
some would say that being appreciated is good. it's true. we all want/need to be recognized for our hard work. and that's fine. but once you expect appreciation for everything that you do, it becomes a problem. if you have accomplished something, and you take great pride in knowing that you've done things, then appreciation would not even matter. some people will feel unaccomplised if they don't get praises for their work...they think that because people don't appreciate them, that their work does not matter, or it's not good enough.
and that's my 17 cents...and keep the change too.
